Dermatology Research Training
Training in basic and translational research is a high priority for Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. We are proud to have several faculty members with highly successful research programs that reflect broad interest in skin immunology, genetics, development, cancer and disease specific programs. We have organized our outstanding faculty with a proven track record in mentorship to take advantage of our unparalleled institutional scientific resources, a well-funded base of dermatology research and outstandingly equipped centralized modern laboratory space. Our training program leverages these strengths to prepare much-needed future independent research investigators in skin biology.
