Director of Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery
Dr. S. Brian Jiang is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology and Director of Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic surgery at UCSD. He received his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and went on to the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center to finish his medical internship. He completed his residency in dermatology at New York University Medical Center where he also served as their Chief Resident during his last year. At NYU Medical Center, Dr. Jiang also completed a fellowship in Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
In 2000, Dr. Jiang joined the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School where he served as the Medical Director of the Beth Israel Deaconess Dermatology and Laser Center. He was also the Associate Director of the Beth Israel Deaconess Dermatologic Surgery Unit and co-directed the Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship Training Program.
In 2007, he joined UCSD as the Director of Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the Division of Dermatology. Dr. Jiang specializes in Dermatologic, Laser, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery and has lectured extensively on these procedures both domestically and internationally.
Dr. Jiang's clinical practice is located at the Perlman Ambulatory Care Center in La Jolla.
