Fern Nelson

Fern P. Nelson, M.D., Professor, joined VA San Diego Healthcare System and UCSD in early 2002. She joins us after 20 years of combining private practice, duties as Section Chief of Dermatology at WestSide VA, and teaching responsibilities at University of Illinois, all in Chicago. Dr. Nelson is a clinician who enjoys teaching residents in the academic setting. In her other life, she is a fabric artist.
